I just drag the file off the cam and drop it into my imovie. But I love this little thing since I have it with me at all times. Got some good footage of it snwing in the Tracy Altimont. I just used one of my hard shell sunglass cases and it fits great. You can also get a hard case that holds portable hard drives. You can get them at bestbuy for about 20. Or you can buy off ebay.
